What We Do

The Bluff-Tones is a small group of friends that started playing music in the basement bar at one of the members house. The house just happens to be located near a bluff on the Missouri river. Hence the name "Bluff-Tones". Our intentions were just hanging around the basement doing a few "jams" to relax and wind down from the everyday stress of work and life.

One day while visiting at a local pub, the owner asked if we would play at the pub! Next thing we know were breaking down in the basement and setting up for an audience.

The Bluff-Tones generally donate all tips to local authorized charity organizations. Doing this allows us to keep the atmosphere relaxed and takes some of the playing pressure off the band members.

Bluff Tones donated over  $5,000 since January 2010 to the Hermann Food Pantry. THANK YOU !!!

Keep it fun

We want everyone to have fun (including us)and enjoy the varied type of music we like to play. Some music you may not have heard for a while but you definitely will feel good about it!

Looks like we are going to try an acoustic/electric set of some popular tunes. We are very exicted about this prospect and hope to start "practice" very soon.
